server specs required for VB3.8.3

i have Linux VPS Server in which i install Vb3.8.3 recently all forum members comply that the forum became very slow while browsing i have 25,000 members and users online at the forum at the same time range from 75 to 120 visitors and totals visitors /day range from 3500 to 4500 visits/day .
is this forum statistic need me to transfer to new real server not VBS server or there is some problem in the forum or database which lead to slow forum browsing
