Can a registered user permanently delete their own posts?

Can a registered user permanently delete their own posts?

In the permissions for registered user, it contains a "delete own posts" setting but it does not permanently delete the post and leave basically an empty post placeholder. Any way to allow the registered user to just delete the physical post?
