Header image is too big. The entire home page should be between 80 - 100kb. Just your header image is 163.92 KB. If you convert that header from PNG to JPG, you should be able to reduce its overall size by a lot.

I suggest you disable public viewing of members profiles - http://www.beneamata.com/member.php?u=10

Besides that, the forum is easy to read, colors are not over bearing and its pretty straight forward.
