Old & Unused User Accounts

Is there an easy way to search for and remove old / unused user accounts? I'm managing a forum that has 3K users and I'm sure that alot of user accounts are old, unused or duplicates.

I'm thinking that the sorting would be done by the LAST ACTIVITY date. Is this correct? Is there a mod or something that would allow me to search for and remove them all? Maybe in bulk?
