vBay or other marketplace or auction

I am looking for a marketplace solution. I'd like to incorporate into vBulletin but the only thing I've found after looking for many hours is vBay. This looks promising but it looks like the developer has abandoned it. I tried sending him a PM but it says his pm box is full. Tried going to his website and that is either crashed or no longer in service.
Is anyone successfully using vBay with 3.7.3 or know about its development/support?
Does anyone have a better solution?
