Default Cannot view user profile - comes up blank

Hi guys,

I actually posted this in another thread with a similar problem, but I was advised to start a new thread for it, so here it is:

I recently upgraded my forum from 3.6.8 to 3.7.1. I only have about eight hacks that I use on it. Anyway, about a week ago, nobody on my forum was able to view any user profiles. I had not altered the forum in any way recently before this started. . All we get are blank pages. I started looking on the forum here for an answer. I saw a similar thread and there was the following response by Mr. van Herwaarden:

To troubleshoot this, please remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

If your problem still exists, please create a new Style with no Parent set. Now browse the forum using this new style, do you still have the same problems? If you are troubleshooting login or guest issues, you will need to set this style as board default in the vBulletin Options.

I followed his first suggestion which was to put the define ('DISABLE_HOOKS' true); line, and that worked. I was able to view user profiles. I then proceeded to remove all of my plugins and hacks one by one to see if I could spot where the problem was. However, I removed every single one of them, and I still had the same problem. I tried the DISABLE-HOOKS line again. It still worked. I reverted to my regular config. I again was unable to view user profiles, only getting a blank page.

Mr. van Herwaarden had suggested then uploading the original vB non-image files and overwriting them. However, since that seems to be what is done with an upgrade, I simply upgraded to 3.7.2.PL1. When I finished, there were no templates that has to be reverted. I had hoped that this would suffice for replacing the files in a similar manner since you pretty much replace all of those files in an upgrade (or so it seems. Maybe I'm wrong.) Unfortunately, the problem still persists.

I have an unaltered 3.7.2PL1 which will not let me or my users view user profiles, getting only a blank page. I can get the members list on screen, but looking at individual user profiles does not happen. The DISABLE_HOOKS line will still restore it, but I need to put my plugins back on.

The next thing that was suggested was that I create a new STYLE with no Parent set, however Mr. van Herwaarden suggests this is connected with login or guest issues, which is not the case here. I'm unsure exactly how to do that, but I don't see where that is applicable in this instance, but if someone could explain I would be grateful.

I would appreciate any help clearing this up for me. Thanks.
