Making the infractions and banning systems capable of ban a user permision
First of all, sorry for my crappy English.
I'm trying to do my best whit it. There's only two options: to ban or wait to ban. XD Two big and powerful systems, and the final solution is the absolutly ban. I don't want to do that. I want to be able to give my mods the capacity to "ban" an ability of an user for a period of time. Turn a user incapable of use an avatar or signature. Turn a user incapable of access a forum. Little ban options. If an user got 10 infraction points, he got removed his ability to use an avatar. If got 20, the ability to enter a certain list of forums. Etcetera. Ok, I can do that. Go to the admincp, create a new group, and make this unable to do the banned abilities. Next go to the ban system, per example, and ban him to that group. But there's the problem: Maybe you want a user to be banned of "avatar" and "reputation" abilities. You need to create another group! And its the same with all the combinations. If only I'm be able to create a group who only turn off some ability, and let the others be the same as the primary group options...it'll be perfect. With this I can make various effects for points of infractions...and the ban system will "ban" for an time-lapse a user to do some thing. Its there something like this? If not....its possible to do it by other way? Extra: One little question...its possible to make an scheduled task who erase an avatar of a member who don't turn online in a month? Simply turn off his custom avatar. |
