Default Notifications Issue
Hey Guys/Gals,

I have a custom template called "Sidebar" that displays a sidebar on our homepage. Inside the sidebar is where we include the login/info boxes.

For some reason, the "$notifications_total" will not display the number of notifications in the sidebar. (The <if> doesn't function either)

Any idea how to correct this?

Just to update this, I have also tried '$notification[total]' ... I can't get that bloody number to display!

Anyone have any ideas how to get notifications to display outside of the navbar?
