Am i missing a setting somewhere ???

Hello all,

just a quick question....

I have just bought Vb the other day and installed it all correctly and its working fine.

Cept the posting, when someone makes a post it redirects them to the post made so they can see it, but when you go to look on the homepage or threads it does not appear for about 5 mins.

Yes it was all uploaded inh ANSII with the images on Binary - and i have no mods or plugins.

just the standard forum!

The posts and threads are not moderated.

Add No-Cache HTTP Headers - set to no
Update Thread Views Immediately - set to yes

I'm assured by my hosts (webfusion) that there is no server issues.

so why is it taking so long ? is there a setting to slow this process down somewhere ?

so frustrated with it now!
