I am looking for a mod/plugin for announcements.

*I want the announcement to display on the home page.
*I would like it to display a link to a forums latest thread.

For instance if we are posting news articles in a specific thread I would like a link to be posted in the announcement section and it automatically update with each new thread.

Does this or anything close to this exsist?
