Freakin RSS (I'll pay)
I've gone through this message board and vbulletin.com's message board and can't seem to find my solution.
- I have 3.6.8 setup at www.crescentyouth.com/board. I'm trying to add the "latest threads" to the front page of www.crescentyouth.com. - I've searched through dozens of threads and posts to figure out how to make this happen. - I've enabled external javascript and RSS from the admin cp> external handler section. I did a thread cutoff of 10, cache of 60, and 15 latest threads. - I tried to use the standard external.php on an html site and that hasn't worked. - Then i created an RSS feed, maybe i'll do RSS syndication instead cuz java doesn't seem to be working out... and so i created an RSS feed with the below as the feed url: http://www.crescentyouth.com/board/e...s2&forumids=39 - When i try to run that feed i get the following error: Warning: Unable to fetch RSS Feed in /includes/class_rss_poster.php on line 222 - I searched that error and Steve Machol gives conflicting answers every two weeks. I did everything he asked, and removed plugins and re-uploaded original files, etc. to no avail. - This is driving me insane. I've become obsessed with this issue and it's taking time of my "real life". Someone please help me. What am I doing wrong? What do I do? Please help! I'll pay someone $10 via paypal if then can get me the correct solution. I'll make it $15 if it can happen by today. |
