Linking forum to my front-end

Hi,

I'm a newbie. I am creating a front-end to my site in Dreamweaver. I want the registration/login form on my front-end that will pass the values to the forum so that visitors only have to login once.

How can I do this? Could someone point me to a step-by-step tutorial or an add-on that will work with VB 3.6.8?
