Random Name/number picker addon?

Not sure if this exists, but i run an mmog Clan, and would like to know if such an addon exist.
heres what i wanna do.

an item drops in an mmorpg everyone in the hunt is added to a list.
The forum then generates a name\number from that list and places it on a forum thread or something like that. basically determining who gets the item.

Basically what im trying to achieve is a way for all the forum "clan members" to see what number/name is chosen.
