PM notification issues. *now corrected, with fix*

in phpBB, the PM does not go thru until the user logs in. I assume its the same as vB

I have a dual pent 4 running the email server, it can handle it. I even have the instant email mod, so people get instant notifications. Before I had a dedicated email server, I had to use batching w/locking.

I just figured out what happened. Aol and Hotmail accounts now require a reverse-dns tag on all emails. I failed to set that up on the new server!

Had close to 30,000 emails sitting in the mail q', changed the email server setup, hit send, and they all went.

I hope aol/hotmail doesn't block me from spamming now. lol
