Removing Additional Information from Registration

hey folks
i want to remove the entire Additional Information table during registration because I think it makes the registration seem a lot easier. Then allow members to change the things that Additional Information contains in their User CP.

Is there a way to do this so that all of the default settings in Additional Information are still sent through the registration but the user just doesnt see any of it?

I figure if I remove the entire table, all of those inputs will no longer be sent.

However, I am thinking there could be a better way of doing this than removing all of the table and visible stuff and leaving all of the inputs hidden.

Anyone know how I could go about doing this?
Or even easier, if I remove that whole table, are those defaults in Additional Information still set up on the users account?
