Who Made The (Insert Number Here) Post?
For example, if you wanted to know which member made the 10,000th post, or the 50,000th post, you wouldn't really know unless your forum's only got a snail's pace of activity per day. The reason why you might like to know this is because you may offer a significant prize to the person who attains the 10,000th post and other special milestones. I'm talking overall Forum Statistics here, not personal post count. Unfortunately there is no log which tells you who has made this post. It would indeed be hard to keep a careful eye on the statistic at the bottom of the page, as you can't be around 24 hours a day.
I'm wondering if there is a Modification already created that could cater to the requirements I have listed. Basically, if you typed in 10,000, you would be told who made that particular post. If it was an admin, well then you would want to go with 10,001.) I would put this topic in the 'Modification Requests' area, but there could be something like this already out. I did some thorough searching, but that feature is pretty useless when you want something specific. If no one has ever heard of something like this, then the topic could be moved to the Requests area. It would be highly useful for a few things that I have in mind. If more information is required I'd be happy to oblique; though I think I covered it all in my summary. Cheers. |
