warning to people thinking of using visionscripts.com modifications

1st of dude is a crook and takes mods from here and alters them and then releases em on his site for a fee.

unfortunately, i gave this guy $30 i think it was for his version of the Rap Battle System, since it was the only one available for 3.5.x and i am running a music artist forum, and this was obviously a great addon.

well, a few weeks after the purchase, this guy just removes the rap battle system from his and ours lives, claims he is stopping the sale and production of it due to CHARGEBACKS from paypal (WHICH DOESNT HAPPEN WHEN ORDERS ARE PROCESSED AS SERVICE, WHICH IS DIGITAL DOWNLOAD) and just puts the breaks on this mod all together.

so i started asking as to why this mod cant be released her, so it can grow and get better, and he doesnt wanna release it for some reason. well its his mod, thats fine. but atleast give everyone a chance to enjoy this thing and especially those that did pay for it, continue its progress and dont offer to sell it anymore, right? doesnt that make logical sense????

so, now dude wants to threaten to ban me and keep closing my threads on his site, so i just PM'd him on his forum and told him to basically goto hell, in other words.

i got 2000 battle threads here, angry users. if your NOT going to, yourself, for SOME reason, enhance this mod and let it grow, WHY not let someone else do it??????

Psionic Vision08-09-2006 04:06 AMIf a hack is discontinued, that means it is discontinued and is not going to be developed further. That does not mean that a hack is going to be released for free. If you ask the question again, you'll be banned from the forum, because the fact that a product is discontinued does not mean that you can be pushy with the staff... so if you plan or know someone that plans on getting ANY mod from this crook guy, warn em. 35 bucks isnt alot, and especially coming from 1 of my clients, it was nothing at all, but the POINT is now i got 2000 battles and hundreds of angry users because their 1 addon they loved isnt working now for no reason what so ever other then this dude doesnt want to release a hack he will not work on or let grow publically.
