Rank/Title based on postcount from specific forum?

Has anyone made a modification that allows user ranks/titles based on postcount in a specific forum? Or does anyone know how to make this?

I run an RPG fansite, and we would like to give our members flavoured ranks / titles related to which forum they are most active in. A Player vs Player enthusiast would get a certain set of rank images(like army rank) whilte a PvE player would get others (amulets, artifacts etc.etc.)

Anyone that can help us out?
