upgrading from 3.0.6 - 3.5.4
Hello, i'm not completely positive if this fits into this topic, but it's the most relevant, other than asking support on .com.
I'm sure this is a dumb question, but I tried upgrading from 3.0.6 - 3.5.4 using /install/upgrade.php ... however i get an error. Quote:

The first thing that stands out for me is this:
'frforum._datastore' There appears to be a dot after your table prefix....are you sure that's supposed to be there? Check your new config.php and make sure the table prefix is set correctly without a dot. Since I'm assuming your forum worked ok previously, I would say that's where the problem could lie. |

Hmmm....
It's late at night, it's the underscore that's wrong, not the dot. I'm half asleep..... Have you a copy of your OLD config.php? If so, what was the table prefix entry on that? It's worth double checking that the database details on the new config file exactly match those on the old one. |

table prefix in the old config file says vb3_ .... however in phpmyadmin, it doesn't show a prefix on any table

If that was the setting in the old config file, and the forum was running ok, then it's got to be worth chaging it back to that. Not having run a board with prefixes I am never 100% sure how they're set up, but I'd try that for certain. |
