Apparantly vBSEO are in the process of implementing a Pingback and Trackback feature into their code, whereby each thread and post is assigned a specific trackback URL and this can be used by blogs (and hopefully forums soon) alike to make use of their already implemented pingback and trackback functions.
What are your thoughts of implementing Pingback and Trackback functionality into vBulletin? Do you think it will actually work? Here is a quick vBSEO published FAQ on the Pingback and Trackback process. EDIT: If there is an issue with the origin of this thread as a discussion of the commercial modification vBSEO then try to think of it as the discussion of the implemention of pingbacks and trackbacks into vBulletin generally. ![]() |

Matt Cutts blogged regarding how BigDaddy is impacting sites. Probably old news to many of you, but I'll provide the link. I summarized it on our forum, but here is the more detailed post from Matt: http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/indexing-timeline/ |

I don't need vBSEO just the trackback URL, more precisely Permalinks...
I wonder if someone would develop something like that. |
