Just install it again ?
FYI, AFAIK You shouldn't see an option for password encryption if you are installing it to be integrated with vB. |

I am with paul. I don't recall ever seeing that option during the integration process. The only thing I could think of would be if you installed the bot and all the goodies it comes with. (I didn't need any of that stuff.) Seeing as I skipped all that, it may have been in there perhaps?

I dont seem to understand.....that seems very difficult and I thought that all i would need to do is call the chat/index.php file from one of my extra pages....
is there no way to do that?...even by creating a plugin? thanks, Gamelandz |

It's not difficult at all. In fact, it only takes a few minutes to install and it will add usergroup permissions for you. You asked how I did it on my site, that is how. (Then I went in and made my own stuff for it.)
Give that a whirl. |

After you installed the modification adding the flashchat to a vb page, you need to go into vBulletin Options in the acp and set which usergroups are allowed to view that page.
Set those permissions and see if it takes care of the other issues. Users should already be logged in using their screenname from the site if they have the permission to view that page. |
