I need the details and steps need to create a sub forum or child forum a PHP script

I need the actaul steps to create a script in vbulletin not to use the admin control panel but have to develop a script in PHP that will run by its self and do what is required to create a sub forum or a child forum. I am new to developing in vbulletin Ii have been playing with vbulletin the last couple of months but now and have a good idea of the user interface and the admin control panel now I want to start developing some stuff and this is the first thing I need to do.

So could someone please explian what in need to do to set up my .PHP file so it will comucate with vbulletin if there is any documtation I need to reference please give me the links. Also a sample script to help me get started would sure help. I also need to uderstand the things one would need to understand to do this if any one can explain enough to get me at least started. Below is the only thing i can find that needs to be put in the top of the .PHP file so as to intergate into vbulletin but i need to understand from this point forward what needs to at least go into the PHP to create a PHP script to create a sub forum in a script. I hope this is clear what i am asking for please feel free to ask me anything you need to know to understand what I am trying to do THANKS.

I think I understand what you are asking but what you are asking is a lot of work from what I am seeing. The best place to start on this site is the tutorials section. There are sections on creating vb powered pages. Go through the tutorials.

What I need to do is create sub forum or child forum in a script as described in my previouse posting on this thread and I want to use PHP script to do it as explained before and I am running into not understand the following: I was hoping someone could help me or at least point me to the correct information and documentation to do this. The problem is how to update the parent and child thead and how should I keep track of the parent and child relationships of the sub forum or child forums. I have been going through the API documnetation and do not know which api functions I should be looking at or consdiering to do this. THANKS
