Hello, I've been thinking of relaunching a new site and was wondering a couple of things before I do it, I would greatly appreciate any advice!
I want to use the vB in the root folder and change index.php to forum.php so that i could make a community without using vbadvanced or anyother ones. Is that possible? I also wanted to purchase photopost and do something similar, but instead of index.php to gallery.php or something similar to that. I know there are hacks to use the vblogin on non vb pages which is great, and exactly what I will be using. I was just wondering if that was possible. Thanks in advance!! |

You can change your index.php to anything you want through the admincp. Go to your vBulletin options then down to Forums Home Page Options and change the Script Name for Forum Home Page value.

After you do the above mentioned step, you'll also need to rename your index.php to forum.php
