Couldn't find what I'm looking for with several search attempts. I'm sure this must have been asked many times before, but I can't find it.

Is there a hack and/or tutorial for posting to vB via an external application? Would like to have an external mysql database (on a different server and host) post a message to vB when new entries are added to the external database.

If the external database has an rss feed, you can use the ARTICLE BOT mod.
