How long to earn money with adsense?

I'm kinda confused with how that works, I've got clicks and impressions but no money

(i just signed up yesterday), so i understand it takes time I'm just curious because I've never signed up with one of these advertising programs, just done the old banner swap with related sites

it was my understanding that webmasters get paid with adsense even if our users don't click and buy their products? We get paid simply for displaying the ads

with adsense they have to click for you to get paid. they don't need to purchase anything, it makes no difference.

You get paid when users click the adds.
The first month your clicks generate > 100 $, you will get paid in the next month (usually around the 24th)

do you need a massive amount of clicks to earn money? so far in 3 days i've had 3 clicks....2 of them were mine lol

if your daily traffic isn't 400-500unique visitors don't even bother m8 to add adsense. You should focus on adding more contect and build your community step by step and when your daily traffic is around 500-600 unique visitors per day then add the adsense and start earning money.

You shouldn't click on your own ads it's against google's tos. The how much you will earn depends on the ads that will be generated for you content. I have seen with my eyes a click to bring 6dollars i have seen 30 clicks to bring the same because of the different ads. There are many tips to tweak the adsense (position colours size) and earn more but first focus on content and you community.

adsense crap, if you have a large site, go for a better company, if you have a small site, sitll look for better, i;ve made more in a day with a certain company, then a week with googles adsense * smilar amout of clicks and impressions *

i'm probably at 150-200 unique visitors

what is the other company u speak of smiry kin?

would something better fit me then adsense? Would I be better off to simply sale individual banner ads for like $5 a month and put them in a banner rotation?

problem with google adsense, is they close accounts for no reason...

you might be better off selling banners for that dude.. i had for 1 month several companys on my site * sure did look messy* but it was to see which was better etc etc

you could prob sell banners about 10$ a month, and if you have rotation, then can sell more then one a month..

in your control panel...


mostly its domain/cpanel

and its in web/ftp stats or something similar, or you can get a third party program.
