hey anyone know how i can create a style that doesn't use the hacks that i installed. ihave a user who is on dialup and ever since i installed the hacks the site goes very very slow for her. it hasn't affected any of the other users who are on dial up. i did a search but couldn't find anything

If other users on similar connections are not having a problem, then that sounds like a problem on that user's machine or ISP.

Anyway, to make a new style with the default templates create a new style with no parent.

yeah i did that. but it still has the hacks in them like the shout box

i am going to double check the theme i created with no parent.

aight i checked. the only hack that remains is the shoutbox.

is there any way to take the shoutbox out of a theme. i didn't have to do any template edits for that
