Allowing registration only with specific email domain
So like the title says... is it possible to allow registrations only with a specific email domain like "@something.com"?
If not by default is there some known modification or hack that can manage with my request? Thank you. |

By default this is not possible, but there are modifications available that will turn the Censored Mail addresses list into an Allowed list, giving the functionality that you want.

You can already search our hacks, you will be able to download them after you acquired a vB license.

Hi, I'm a registered user and can download hacks. Can you help me find the right hack to change the banned emails into an allowed list?
Okay, since posting, I found this hack: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...846#post943846 It appears to be for 3.0, however. I've asked the developer if it would work with 3.5, and could be tweaked for 2 domains or a wildcard in the domain. This is kind of a huge deal to us, because we need a facebook.com type of limited registration system. Thanks! |
