i am still very new to this but seem to be grasping some basic skills, i want to edit a styles for my forum, but am unsure how to go about this.
firstly is it allowed to take someone else's style they ahve made and edit it?? and secondly, how do you change the background colour of the forum page, please excuse my enquiry if there is somewhere that tells you this but i have some questions and need some help with this whole forum thing as it's new to me thanks in advance for the help |

If it's a style available here on vB.org you can alter as you see fit, but you cannot redistribute it. If you are thinking of adapting a style from someone's actual site you'll need to contact them to get permission to do so first.

You may alter it as much as you like for your own use
![]() However you must ensure that the Jelsoft copyright remains (unless you have purchased the Branding Free option) and any copyright pertaining to the style you are using... Chris |
