v3arcade uCash integration + jackpot payouts

Hi,

I think it would be great to have a port of an old 3.0.x addon that made users pay a certain amount of uCash in order to play an Arcade game.

In return, if they scored a high score they would received a large jackpot payout which would gradually increase according to how many people have tried to get the jackpot.

I used the Arcade pass hack in 3.0.x.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Arcade pass hack didn't allow pay per game functionality, did it? It just required a set cash amount in order to be able to play for x number of days.

Does anyone know what's happened to this? Last time I read that someone had converted it and was just waiting for the original coder's permission to post it.

There are 2 different things being discussed here ... pay for play (where a member must pay in order to play) and the jackpot system (where a member GETS PAID from the pool of funds earnt from others playing, if they gain a high score)

I think the jackpot system would be better if you got a % of the pool depending on your high score position.
eg :
score position 1 gives you 50% of the current pool
score position 2 gives you 40% of the current pool
score position 3 gives you 30% of the current pool
score position 4 gives you 20% of the current pool
score position 5 gives you 10% of the current pool

These %'s should be admin settable.
