Latest Threads from a Certain Forum to Display on ForumHome?

Is there a way to display the latest threads from only a certain forum in a table on the homepage?

I have a news table in a left column that I would like to have automatically update with the latest threads in the news section, and only the news section.

You would have to change the xml-file a bit.

Find:

Below add:

   $limitfids = x; 


x would be the ID of the forum, from which you want to have the threads displayed.

Find:

Remove it.

Find:

AND forumid NOT IN (0$limitfids) 


Change to:

AND forumid IN (0$limitfids)
