VB calendar in Joomla
I've a site built with joomla and a forum using VB. I would like to put on the sidebar of the site a small calendar that is linked to the one in vb so that when a user click on an event it's taken to that event in vb.
The result sould be exactly like the one you can see now on my site http://www.kog.it/sito2 that now uses another calendar. In fact what I would like to do is replace the actual calendar (that is not tied to VB) with the VB one.... Anyone has some clues about that? Tanks!! |

It seems that the mini calendar it's not too much intriguing, anyway I've posted teh following question on vb.com
Code:
It's not possible to call a php function inside VB that display the small calendar such the one in attached image? I'm not a developer so I don't know the inner secerts of VB but maybe there's an API that lat me do just that... Code:
There is a function: construct_calendar_output (line 244) void construct_calendar_output (mixed $today, mixed $usertoday, mixed $calendarinfo, [mixed $fullcalendar = 0], [mixed $weekrange = '']) However, code modification needs to be discussed at vBulletin.org. Any suggestion? |

Let me ask again....
Is there any way to display the mini calendar of the current month in an external non-VB page? Any suggestion or hack available? |

I'm now looking to the same thing. Is there a way to create a mini-cal from vb to place on a joomla homepage?

I know this thread is about integrading the vB mini-cal to Joomla, but is there a module around that would show the next 10 events in the vB calendar? Similar to Last posts module.

I have an older version of Joomla (1.0.3) and vB 3.5.1 tied up with old vBridge 1.22. Works quite fine, althoug I still have some login problems. My users can login from both sides, but they are logged out after about 12 hours from login.
Small problem considering the problems in the later versions... Still looking for better solution, even commercial one... (anyone??) Site: http://www.snorkkeli.net Forum: http://www.snorkkeli.net/component/o...idge/Itemid,5/ To show the forum in full widht, you have to have a template that scales to 100%, not fixed wodht templates. /Chris |
