Default Roaming Robot that clicks threads

Is is possible to create a robot as a member that would roam your site clicking thread link titles. The reason why I ask this is because I have noticed if you have Google Adsence installed. When you post a new thread. It doesnt come to your site staight away to index the thread. But if you click the thread title to view it, then go and look quick at the "Who's Online". You'll see that Google Adsence will have come to the site to index the thread you was just viewing.

If you had a robot that went around your site randomly clicking thread titles. This would bring Google Adsence there faster to all unviewed threads and get them indexed faster.

This is very useful if you use an RSS News Feed hack, that members would normally NOT be so quick to click to view. But a random robot would bring adsence to them much faster becuase he would click them randomly. All it would need to do from what I can see is just click the thread titles to bring the adsence to that thread if it's not been indexed already. Maybe even have a option to be able to limit the robot to certain boards you choose etc.

Wow, that is a most excellent intuitive idea for using a automatic member to click on threads. I would click install for such a imaginative hack.

Well one thing I've noticed were this would help is this: When you installed the RSS Feed hack to bring news feeds to your board. If you have Google Adsence installed they will NOT scan the new feeds posted until you manually click the feed and read it as a member.

I think this happens because if you create a new thread or a new post as a member. When you post it you are then re-directed back to the post or thread you made to view what you just posted, which brings the Google Adsence to that post.

The trouble is - if it was posted by a RSS Bot, that bot is not redirect back to that thread in the same way to view what it just posted. And in a sense it remains an un-viewed post. Meaning Google Adsence will not come to view any RSS News feeds until you either view it manually, or another person views it. Then Google Adsence will come and view that RSS News feed.

This is were a roaming robot would come in handy, especially with RSS Feeds if went around click the RSS News feed titles, which if done right would then bring bring Google Adsence to view them previously un-viewed threads.

Surely this could just be a cron job run every 5 mins, that queries the new threads in the last 5 mins, them http opens them (I'm not familiar on opening remote sites) one at a time?

I know what you mean about google adsense, this is a very good idea.
