Indexsoft MySQL backups manager ?

since i like to have more hacks on my forum but i always worry about screwing database and have to go thru all the things that i dont know much trying to restore it (i m a newbie in these stuffs)

it looks so promising since "it will be saving and restoring your MySQL databases as easy as "one-two-three". It is simple and convenient to use and will keep your databases backed up and safe." that is wat is said on their website

any opinion on this ?

No but it sounds pretty good, however i still think that the vbulletin team should make a complete backup and restore hack, that can be done from the admincp that works with even the largest databases....Because i know there is a hack that can backup large databases from admincp https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...store+database

But im still unable to find one that can restore the database.

The problem is, not every host gives you access to SSH or Telnet and phpmyadmin wont work because of the size limit and timeouts.

there should be another way by now.

I've herad people say they will work on it, but overall it should be the vbulletin team that works on it.

Its kinda letting everything down when you cant restore your backup with ease.

At this stage looks like i need to find a new host, but I shouldnt have to.

I just ordered it and am still playing with it for the settings but just did my first backup with a push of a button and backup was emailed to me.

I feel you cant beat this program, right now for the month of December they have it at 50% off reg price of $14.95, for $7 and free installation it gives me a lot of security.

And free installation also. I ordered it last Friday and sent an email off about their offer of free installon Saturday, didn't think I would hear back from them for a while, but Monday got a reply and it was installed within an hour.

btw: i dont know why they have to give a free installation ?
wat do they do with the installation ?
