Post the Most
I am sorry if there is something similar to this already. I have been looking for an hour and haven't found it.
Anyways, what I am looking for is a hack that will allow you to see who posted how much in a certain period of time. I would like to run contests for my users who post a lot. I would like to be able to look and see that Member A posted 47 posts/threads in a week, Member B post 75 posts/threads in a week, and so on. Maybe make it where it can be changed (the time frame) from a day, a week, a month, etc.. TIA Anyone? Please?? |

I don't have a hack for this, but I have done the same thing on a separate web page that pulled the info from the database with a query. I haven't tested it though since I upgraded to 3.5.
It's a pretty simple query, but if you don't know SQL this would save you some time. It only pulls post totals though, not thread totals...and it's not dynamic - you'd have to manually change the dates in the query. Not optimal, I know...but I only needed it to show stats for one month at a time, so it worked fine for me. My intentions were always to go back and put in drop downs to choose month/year...but I never got around to it. If you're interested, let me know... |
