Modifying the "You are not logged in" message
I'd like to modify the message that's returned to a user when they attempt to access a resource to which they have no access or are not logged in. The current message is:
%user%, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: (lists reasons) I'd like to add to the reasons that are displayed. Can someone tell me where that's done? Thanks |

You will need to edit the [high]nopermission_loggedin[/high] phrase found in the "Error Messages" phrasegroup

Thanks very much. Located it and changed to suit. I guess to add an additional entry however, I'll need to add the phrase and modify the template to display it?

If you mean how do you modify the existing phrase to add more reasons for not having permission, then there are 2 ways of accomplishing this:
1.) You enable debug mode in your config.php file and alter the MASTER LANGUAGE phrases 2.) You paste the altered version of the phrase into the "English (US) Translation" box and this will become what is displayed Chris |
