how to get when people post their music tracks up on my site how can we get it to stream right in thread? and not have to download?

also have a section for funny videos and stuff well how can i enable video streaming for just mods/admins/sm's?

That is kinda tricky due to the potential for copyright infringement, not accusing you I'm just saying that this kind of hack could catch hell for its author if it is misused so I don't know if it exists. You would have to put up a statement saying that by uploading a music/video file at your site, the user uploading acknowledges that they are not breaking copyright law and take full responsibility for any consequences of breaking said law.

and music im talkin bout people post up their own work

i run a hip-hop community people post their stuff up get feedback, etc and me and other admins thought it be easy if as soon as they go into thread the track plays

1.you cant stream stuff from other sites thats still copyrited
2. even if you had something to do it you would have to have strict privledges set or your site would be filled with wasted bandwidth and no control over the copyrited material so you would be looking at a lawsuit.
3. 60 dollars aint much when you are looking for something dude what you expect everything to be free Get real
4.learn to script if you dont like other peoples answers create your own streaming hack it dont take a rocket scientist to make a upload script. finding out how to control the users and what they upload will be though.
5.you paid for vbulletin you pay for webhosting and with streaming media at high member level with be alot of cash So why cant you pay 60 dollars to achieve something to do this ?

and you upping your thread isnt gonna make someone create a hack specifically for you. you want something like this done in a hurry you one hire a programmer 2. you buy something existing that works for what you want.

theres pretty awesome mods that can do this on phpbb- perhaps go for that instead, the support considering its free is better tbh.

I am running 3.5 GOLD.

What if I want to stream MY OWN copywrited .mov files or .mpgs that are ALL MINE? Can we stream it right from a thread?

BTW, I do have vbadvanced gallery for 3.5 that I bought.
