Sorry but it is impossible to tell how this is happening from just looking at the thread. Can you find any common factor on when this is happening. Same usergroup posting, anything?
Have you got any hacks installed that are touching the polls? |

Well, I know it is difficult to troubleshoot this way but it is all I have to go on so far and I have found no other commonalities yet... I don't believe I have any hacks that would effect polls but it is possible....

The thread it was supposed to belong to, was it posted by the same user, around the same time?

Have you imported an existing installation into this one?
I did this once, and found that I had a few polls that had no threads attached, and that new polls would get attached to the worng threads. ie: thread 235 originally had poll1 in it. I impex, lose the polls, so when the next poll is created, it gets attached to thread 235...as well as the one it was posted in. |

I have never done an import from another script or site.......... is there any fix for this short of disabling polls????
