I tried searching the forum, but was unable to find anything. I'm trying to create a Role Playing Game, and on that board, I'd like the currently logged in users list to show up, listing the character names instead of the members' login names. "Character Name" is a custom profile field [field16], but so far, I've been unsuccessful acheiving this through editing the forumdisplay_loggedinuser template. Is this possible to do, and if so, does anyone know the correct coding to do so? Do I need to edit a .php file as well? Thank you for your time.

Custom Profile field variables only work in the postbit template, as far as I know. I think you'll need to hack to get it working in other templates. What version are you running?
