Free Members about to lose privledges email

My board has two sections, one for everyone and one for subscribed memebers. What I would like to do Is open the board to everyone for their first week so they can see if the subscribed side is something they are interested in. After a week, they get moved into the "freebie" side.

That can all be handled with permissions and promotions, but what I would like is for the first week members to get an email and/or PM the day or so before they get locked out of the subscription side them what is about to happen so that I don't get 10,000 emails asking why they can't post in certain sections anymore.
