hi..

i am using vb 3.5 and i am looking for a way to allow just some thread/post to have this html permission... not like the default option which allow all threads in that forum to take this feature..

i turned on to some fourm in my board... , i know that is quit dangerous .. but i couldnt do it like my old board just with some thread..

any help in this case? plug-in?....

you would have to choose each thread that allows html... and have it stored somewhere in the database, so it would change your database... same with posts... thought you would have to set it AFTER they have been posted, so it doesnt seem to make much sense at least for single posts... and it doesnt make it less dangerous... anyway its a little complicated to do

i just want to give this feature to particular member ... who can use this option ... if that not poissible ... so just do it with particular threat ... and this permission just with administartor

so i think by this way i am in the safe side ...

i will be only the person who could use this feautur to any post or thread ...

phpbb board has smiliar idea.. the administaror can set many features to any usergroups he wants ... one of this featuer is using html code ..

I'd really like a mod for HTML Allowed for Certain Users/Groups for 3.5 (mainly because I want admins and mods to have the ability, but not users).

I've been using phpbb2 for about 2 years and I don't see of or know a way to activate html for certain user groups, you either have it on for all or off for all.

Looking for this option as well. To allow admin and mods to be able to post html .. basically making it it possible to allow certain groups to post html.
