I can't get this to work
$vbulletin->options['spamscan_maxposts'] The variable is empty, yet it should have been loaded with all the other options. Do I have to do anything special to get user defined setting options to load? |

The value of 20. Further, I can edit the value using the admincp >> vbulletion options >> Vspam Scan options (I've installed all the necessary phrases). PHP My admin also pulls the value. So it's definitely in the database and in the right place. Why can't I pull it up at runtime
(and yes, I declared $vbulletin global at the beginning of the plug in, just in case. |

That's strange, if it is in the Database and does appear in vBulletin Options it should definitly be there.

Have you tried to go into vBulletin Options and just hit Save somewhere?
Because if you create a new setting via mySQL, it will not instantly apper in $vbulletin->options as this comes from a datastore cache which needs to be rebuilt. |

![]() ![]() You should not create Settings directly through mySQL, use vBulletin to do so - it's much more convenient, and updates the Cache automatically. |
