The gradient doesn't work, it's too busy. The color you're using for your font on the New Post button is hard to see. Overall you'll need to rethink your colors and keep playing around with them until things start blending with each other better. Keep working at it and things should start shaping up.

That gradient is very out of place, doesn't match with the style at all. Best to replace it with one that is red or black, or matches your colour scheme. Plus the new post buttons also seem out of place in your colour scheme.
