I keep seeing more and more "tableless" designs, and while i agree tables nested tables are nasty, there is nothing wrong with using tables for tabular data, such as the postbit, forumhome, and some other places.
But for someone to recode all of vBulletin (im not pointing fingers at anyone just making a general statment) to remove every table, seems insane. Tables are not the devil and they are still a standard tag, and theres nothing wrong with using them. But id like to know why try to put tabluar data into insanely coded Divs and CSS? |

People seem to be on a css hype now a days, im still using alot of tables because it is just eaiser to code something quickly to work in most browsers that way.
I want to make the jump to advanced css and some other new tricks, but I can't see tearing it apart to make it work in IE so 97% of my vistors can see it. |

Nor do I, infact I could care less how something is coded as long as it loads in my browser like it should. Standards are great, but they are far from supported at this point.
