I know that you can change the category strip background image via the style manager in the admin CP but it also affects the forumdisplay category strip. How can I use a seperate category image for my forumdisplay?

Faranth, we're here to help, not to tell people to learn this and that. What sort of help is that?
Doing it via the style manager will change every class with 'tcat'. So you will manually have assign it to forumdisplay. Now, have you already assigned an image background for the categories? And what version are you running? |

ok we will make this very simple
view the source and copy the .tcat stuff paste this into the aditional CSS deifinaton area and rename it all tcat2 remove or change the image, now where you want tcat2 to show up (as its the differnt modifed version) edit that specific template |
