Making a Style

Ok im new to VB but want to make a custom style for my forum

Are there any tuts out there that can help me? Im running vb3 beta 5.

1. I need info on how to have a background image. I can make the image but have no clue how to get it to show on my forum.

2. same with catogory strips, i can make the image but how do i make it show on my pages ? I put the url to the image in the font colour but nothing happened, do i also have to add some code to the templates ? If so what and where ?

3. If someone would be kind enough to giv my graphics admin a lesson please ICQ him 67122010 . Hes got the gfx done but hasnt worked with vb and doesnt know how to get it working...Im not asking for anyone to make the style, just to help us work out what we have to put where.
