Default Custom designs

Hi i read a thread a couple of places down and nocited that some of you do costum designs here. Does that mean full style sets?

Its just that i run a Final Fantasy based board and would love a custon style set with a Final Fantasy theme, however i cant pay (paying for my own domain package has left my pockets dry) so if any one could help me out itd be greatly apreciated, even if you cant make one but know where i could get one thatd be great.

I would be willing to offer free hosting if that would sweaten the deal for someone.

Cheers.

well...free custom styles dont happen....they always cost money.

I design styles all the time, but i cannot do it for free.

i MIGHT be able to do it for hosting, cause i might need some. what are the specs of the server, and what would i be getting (it better be good.....lol)

personally, Cypher, this is just me, but asking for a payment of people's webspace seems alittle... well.... for lack of a better word... stupid.

This is not to down anyone but honestly, free work is tolerated by few so some form of payment is expected in return. In this case, webspace is the only thing the person has to offer, while not much, it is some form of reward, although not highly looked upon since hosting is a lot cheaper these days that it was 2-3 years ago.

My moto has always been "if you can afford vBulletin and hosting, then you can afford to pay for whatever else you need (such as design and other such items)".

Again, that is not to down anyone, but vBulletin is $85/$160, hosting in most cases runs at least $100/year; so I believe if you can afford that, you can afford a design in the range of $50-$150 at least.

agreed. ihcf 0 asking for money to support myself is not at all stupid. i need money, and the way i make it is by working at a music store, and web designing. those are my only two sources of income. i have lots of things to pay for (car insurance, internet, hosting, vb licenses, friends, fun, car, etc...). so, i ask for money, cause i dont like to spend 8 hours working on a style and get nothing but a link in return...i need the money

Ok first of id just like to say that i never had any problems with giving away hosting, i have 500mb which is more than ill ever use. And i gots no real problems with paying for style sets ect ect, but like i said, i bought all this within a small period of time which has left my cash flow a little low lately. Honestly i wasnt expecting anything professional, just another style considering ive allready at least tried everyone available for download here.

Now having said that, im glad that iHCF offers his services for free, not only are his designs of a professional grade but i personally love his style. Ill be using two of his random designs by the end of tonight and like he has said, hell do a custom one for me. If he wanted hosting or advertising then id have no problems giving it to him, but its for free so hey i aint gonna refuse right.

Thats one of the worst motto's i've heard. I bet alot of people saved for a long time to get a vbulletin liscense. Does that mean they'll always have enough money to buy a design for their forums, absolutely not.

I feel some people are "extremely" greedy when it comes to making vbulletin styles and designs.
