Weird
I have a problem which is really getting to me....
I just installed a clean copy of vbulletin 2.2.5 on my clients new server. Then i upgraded to 2.2.9. I set everything up correctly because all the tables are set up and the necessary info (templates) are there. When i log into the admin cp and then go to the default templates to make some mods none of the templates show up. All that i see is a long list of "change original" but nothing else shows up and it remains the same when i "show all". Do any of you know exactly what my problem is? Thanks! Larry |

Okay, is it a clean copy of 2.2.9? I don't recall this happening on any clean copies except a hacking problem.

Yes it is a clean copy. I installed this same board, the exact same way on their previous server and it worked. Instead of using the same database as previous i just decided to start from scratch.

Did you follow the upgrade instructions? It's more then just overwriting files.
Or did you delete the forum and upload 2.2.9 and re-install completly? |

Everything was from scratch...including the database and all files on the server except for the images...

Are you running an up to date version of PHP? You need to have PHP 4.2.2 installed at minimum.

I think that might be the problem. With the old server no mods had to be made to the server but this time we had to turn register globals on in the php.ini file. I'll have to try some more things. Thanks again guys!
