Is there a way to add the register php code to the main site index? Sortof what you have done here? If so, would someone please explain to me how?

It's done via portals. The portal here is one FireFly has made. Please contact him at vB.org if you would like to purchase it.

With a little copy and pasting you can do it, you sould try asking at vB.org

Most of the features on the portal are released in little hacks if you wanted to put them on other pages so do a search of vB.org too just incase.
