I'm wondering if it's possible to give each category/forum an individual watermark using the templating system? If not, I'll take this over to vB.org and perhaps a hack can be made.
http://www.yosc.net/prototype/index.html That's the URL of an html page mimicking a section of our forums. We'd like to do something like that, if it's possible. Any ideas, or help would be appriciated! Yosc_Chris http://forums.yosc.net |

It is really more of a background than a watermark, although I am not sure right off how you would go about doing something like that, though it is something I will look in to and see if I can find a solution.

well one way would be to just cut up the image into pieces an do the category images and just put a diff image in each one making it look like its just one image but actually being many images that are cut up.

I'd figured we'd have to cut the images. But my main concern is giving each a different background. I might have to go to vB.org and get some help for database modifications. Like add a table to the deal that defines a forum, and give it a background image. Then do a long series of if statements to determine which one gets which image. But that would probably destroy performance.
Any news SaintDog? |

I am not quite sure on this one, it may take some modifications as you can not set images per category by default. You may wish to ask at vBulletin.org and show them your example.
