how do i allow other types of avatars on vb3
this is really starting to anoy me and my members

Not possible without a Hack.
Allowing Flash is a security issue, therefor I would advice not to allow custom flash Avatars.
But you might want to take a look here:

PS That hack will only allow Admins to upload Flash Avatars in teh AdminCP.

i have tried it but it didnt work it just kept saying you cannot upload this as it is not a jpg or gif
can someone help me

If you did try using that hack, and it doesn't work for you, then please post your problem in the thread of that hack.

I hope you did try to upload the avatar from teh AdminCP.
